“I know it’s this horrid club that we don’t want to belong to… but these women just come in and they take you under their wings, and take care of you.
The women that did this were just awesome.
They are lifelines.
And the best part about it is, that today, I have to seriously reflect to think about the hard times. Because it’s all behind me.
All I think about now are the fun times and the funny stories, who I met, and why I’m where I’m at.”
“What happens is, all of a sudden, someone says, ‘My sister has cancer.’ And you become what the people were before you.
It’s like the ‘pay it forward’ kind of thing.
You become this person that, now you know what to do… You hear of somebody and you immediately want to go and take care of them just like you were taken care of.”

So beautiful and so vibrant! In fact, you look so wonderful, that it’s hard to believe what you’ve gone through and that you’re now on the other side. You are a testament to both the visible and hidden strength of fellow survivors. Love you!
