“The 3Day was a big thing for me.
It was an emotional thing for me.
I don’t know; it’s hard to explain. It was a healing process, a kind of starting a new thing, a new life.
I knew my mom was dying, but it was just a way for me to deal with it, and get through it.
At the time I decided to do it, I didn’t realize how much it would help me get through everything that was going on.”
“There were a couple of times I was going to quit the 3Day because I just felt that I should be in Spokane (with her mom.) But Mom pushed me to do it and she said, ‘You’re not going to quit.’
It was a big gift.
This was a journey that I had to make.”
