On limiting yourself…

“I know it’s tough to lose a breast.

And we, as women, focus so much on our sexuality.

But there’s so much more.

I view myself now as an ambassador.  You just continue on with your life.  And, you’re as beautiful with no chest as you are with one or with two.

Yes, this is part of who I am.

And, I am so proud.

I am alive.”

“Once it defines you, you start setting limits on what you can and cannot do.

And once those limits are set, it’s tough. People have this horrible, negative view of cancer.

The Big C.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

One would never think that something like this would enhance your life, but it really has.”
