Nancy L

On coping…

“I tried to never feel sorry for myself, and realize that time and prayer would heal me both physically and emotionally.

My strong faith in God was my strength in my saddest and most afraid times.  My family was so supportive, as well as my husband.

He and I had a lot of long conversations together.

But, there were times I closed a door just to cry by myself and pray for strength.

I never doubted God’s promises or reasons for choosing me.”

“You can always look at another situation and think yours is a piece of cake compared to what somebody else is going through.”

Words don’t even begin to describe the mother that God has blessed my sister and I with. She is such a great source of strength, courage, love, and devotion and she shows that within her everyday. She is the perfect example of what it means to be a wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend. I love you Mom!

Nanc- You are to me, such a woman of faith. You have lived Ps.91:1-2 in such a powerful way! “Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him” I’ve been renewed by your faithfulness, your willingness to share and the living-out of your testimony. Love to you friend, Jules Prov.17:17

To this day, I still remember your strong faith in God that you you always shared and your contagious smile:) I would love to reconnect with you!! I remember holding your little girls when they were only a few weeks old. Where has the time gone? I admire your stamina and positive attitude! Please know you are in my prayers :)

Reedy Creek 1988-89 4th Grade, in one of those darned trailers. Looking up people from my past, I have learned that my best friend during my childhood died 3 years ago, I am trying to find out why.. Now I get this encouraging story of survival. You know you have inspired peopled if they look you up 20 some years since they saw you last. and yes, you did inspire me. Never forget each person you talk to, learns something from you… and that knowledge grows, and grows, and bears fruit. I will never forget you
