On life after cancer…

“I feel good all the time. Better than I’ve felt my entire adult life.

I don’t know how much of it is the supplements and diet changes I’ve made and how much of it is the changed attitude.  I think it’s probably a combination of those two things, right?

Because I am very glad to be alive.

You stare this down and think,

‘Holy crap.

I need to get serious about what I’m doing here.’ ”

“I do way more every day than I ever did.

I’m busier and I want to be busier.

I need to have more fun TODAY.”

Thanks Angie and Ann for putting this together! It is great to have a voice – and any ladies reading this – don’t let ANYONE tell you it’s ok to wait untill you are 50 to have a mamogram – without years of biopsies and abnormal mamagrams throughout my 40′s my insurance company would never have paid for the ductogram that diagnosed my cancer and saved my life!

    Nancy,
You look very healthy and happy. Your parents sent this email to us and I will show it to Bill when he comes home. Your daughter is beautiful, it is a very touching picture. If we could share our strength with you to help you to fight this, we would. We have heard only the best about the health care in Dallas, and your family is with you in this fight. Your positive attitude is inspiring.

    Take Care,
    Janet Hoople

  3. I don’t know you. I think you are beautiful inside and out.

    dearest Nancy,
well, now that my tears are dry,
I can write you this note of love and celebration,
and also to your other “sisters” in this fight –
what a triumph you are, and thankfully are so many
    others….we are the lucky ones…
and this site is quite spectacular, bravo to the founders.
    I will share this.

Any men out there (of any age) who don’t know their PSA get it NOW
I, am a Prostate Cancer survivor, and blessed for everyday I have,
and had my diagnosis at 47 – and a luck guy, so don’t delay.

Nancy – you look gorgeous and ageless,
and your beautiful spirit shines through and is so bright,
as does one of your sweet girls!
Much love always and at this holiday time,
    marc
