Sandy
On living a full life…
“I don’t really care what my body looks like anymore.
I look at my body every day, and I know that I’m a fighter.
Kenny Chesney song, ‘Alive and Well’, that is my credo.
I don’t save my money. We do whatever we want to do. If we want to go some place, we just go.
We live our life like there’s no tomorrow.
We just do.”
“I know one thing I do for myself. Any time I have the opportunity to learn something new, I make sure I do.
I learned how to snowboard. I’m trying to learn how to surf. I’m trying to learn how to wakeboard. When my son turns 18, we’re going skydiving.
I’m definitely not going to be scared to do something, for sure… We go crazy together.”
“People say, ‘Oh my gosh. You’ve been through so much. I feel so bad for you.’
Don’t.
Envy me, is what you should
Because I know what life is about.”
